Once the Extend B2B Onboarding App is installed on your Shopify store, you'll need to add the onboarding form to your storefront so customers can actually see and use it. This guide covers two ways to do that:

  1. Storefront Theme Integration β€” add the form as a page/section on your theme

  2. Customer Account Integration β€” add the form to the customer account menu

Notes

  • The Theme Editor version is public-facing (any storefront visitor can reach it, depending on where you place it).

  • The Customer Account version is gated behind login, so it's typically used for existing customers applying for B2B/company status after creating an account.

Prerequisites

  • The Extend B2B Onboarding App is installed on your Shopify store

  • Shopify B2B features are enabled on your store

  • You have admin access to manage:

    Companies

    Meta fields

    App extensions

Steps to Set Up and Use the App

Step 1: Navigate to the Extend B2B Onboarding App

  • Log in to your Shopify Admin

  • Navigate to Apps β†’ Extend B2B Onboarding App

Once the app is opened, you will see the following sections:

  • Overview

  • B2B Registration Form

  • Company Approvals

Method 1: Storefront Theme Integration

To use the app features on your storefront, you need to add the App Block to your theme.

  1. Open the Theme Editor

  2. Navigate to the page where you want to add the onboarding form.

  3. Click Add section or Add block.

  4. Switch to the Apps tab, then select "Company Onboarding" (under Extend B2B Onboarding)

  5. Click Save in the top right corner

Once added, the block appears in your page structure as company-onboarding, and you can manage it via Manage app in the block settings.

Result: Customers visiting this page will see the B2B Company Registration Form, with fields for Email, Company Information (Company Name, Location Name), and Shipping Address.

Method 2: Customer Account Integration

You can also add the onboarding form directly to the customer account menu, so logged-in customers can access it from their account pages.

  1. Open the Checkout and Accounts editor.

  2. Select Customer accounts from the page selector at the top.

  3. Open the Apps sidebar and add the "Company Onboarding" page.

  4. When prompted, add the page to the customer account menu.

  5. Click Save.

Result: The onboarding form now appears as a page in the customer account navigation (alongside Orders and Profile), showing an "Apply for Company Registration" prompt.
